TWALLC is a start-up seasonal business primary starting April through most of September, with specifics dependent upon weather and when spring breakup occurs. Although we are in a very private remote wilderness, we are just a 30 minute drive to the fabulous town of Homer with lots of energy, character, outdoors, music and community. Homer is also on the road system and a 4 hour drive or 35 minute flight to Anchorage. A vehicle is not required and you will have access to a vehicle for errands and time off. If you have a vehicle, AWD/4WD is a big advantage as our 3 mile dirt access road is not always in great shape, especially May.
Living
Rustic accommodations can be provided on site. Good cell phone service is available throughout the site, and Starlink wifi internet is also available. The site is off grid, but has electricity and hot and cold running water resources. Several accommodation options exist, ranging from a 2 story A-frame cabin suitable for a couple which has hot and cold water and electricity, to a 5 window school bus (skoolie) with seats removed available for private lodging. Septic is being developed so flush toilets may not be available immediately but compost toilets or outhouses will be.
