Only 30 minutes outside of amazing Homer Alaska, you can discover truly remote wilderness. TRW is a private 520 acre wilderness within the 19,000 acre Anchor River/Fritz Creek Critical Habitat Area (ARFCCHA). This is where abundant Moose and other wildlife have protected overwintering territory. We are a landscape lodge with unique clear domes nestled in the woods with amazing views of the landscape, coupled with wilderness adventure such as miles of interpretive hiking trails, biking and e-biking, river fishing, packrafting, and nearby but off-site ATV/UTV tours.

Lodging

Don’t confuse our spherical hard shelled polycarbonate domes with fabric geodesic domes! Ours have a complete 180 degree clear viewing area with clear cap for straight up viewing from your bed! The non-viewing access side of the dome is opaque for privacy.

Wildlife

Any direction you hike, you will find game trails everywhere. Located within a 19,000 acre roadless wildlife refuge, you'll be at one with nature. Moose, Lynx, Bear, Porcupines, Birds and more are dense at our remote lodge.

Activities

Explore miles and miles of hiking trails at our private 520 acre refuge. We also have onsite bicycles, e-bikes, and off-site ATV tours, along with ultra private fishing on the Anchor River. Learn about the geology and natural history of the area with interpretive guides.

Stay a while with us

We have 3 unique polycarbonate domes with lots of space and each with its own private wilderness. Domes accommodate 2-5 people, with ensuite bathrooms and off-grid power.
