Adventure and Solitude at the end of the road
You won’t find us in a row of hotels in town, or alongside the cruise ship terminals in the panhandle – we’re out here in the backcountry, well beyond the power lines and paved roads, nestled in the critical habitat refuge among the wildlife.
We’ve been here since the 1990’s, and we’ve never been the “no trespassing” type of people. Our signs have always said “pedestrians welcome”, because we enjoy meeting people from all walks of life who bravely ventured down our snaking 3 mile sand and dirt road to discover what was here.
We’re not into exclusivity, quite the opposite. You’ll find many locals out on long walks, birders with sharp eyes and binoculars, pack rafters out for the day and fly fishermen looking for their next catch accessing the wild stretches of river that flow through our property. That’s the true Alaska Experience, and one you can find with us at Twin Rivers.

Lodging
Don’t confuse our spherical hard shelled polycarbonate domes with fabric geodesic domes! Ours have a complete 180 degree clear viewing area with clear cap for straight up viewing from your bed! The non-viewing access side of the dome is opaque for a little bit of privacy.
Wildlife
You'll be at one with nature with our multiple game trails, hiking trails and bike trails. Keep an eye out for bear claw sharpening marks on trees, and bare limbs on trees from moose grazing! We're also into the native flora and can help to point out some regional plants on property.
Activities
Take it easy and explore our 500 acres on foot, all the way down to our rivers. Or join us on an ATV or e-bike tour to cover more ground faster. We'll also show you the best spots to spot wildlife, and catch some fish on property on our guided hikes!
